This little boy started preschool yesterday and he couldn't be happier. Blake has been asking to go to school for at least a year. I finally lined things up for him to go for the last couple months before summer break. When I picked him up yesterday he was so excited to tell me about his morning. As we were leaving it was snowing/raining so it was quite wet. Blake took a nice spill and scraped up his hand, but instead of caring about his bleeding hand, he was distraught that his paper he colored from school had gotten dirty and was now blowing away. We ran after the paper through the parking lot and finally caught it. I had to clean it off to make Blake stop wailing. All in all, he is pretty excited to be big enough to go to school. Now I just have to keep explaining to him that he's not big enough to go to the high school behind our house. He's just growing up too fast!

How fun for Blake! Do you ever wish you could spy on him while he's away?

I wish that all the time with my kids :)

That is crazy!!! He is getting so big! That's great he enjoyed it so much! Remind him of this when he's about 16.

When I first read that Blake started preschool I thought to myself "No way he is not old enough yet" and then I remembered that Tori will be starting preschool in the fall. It is bitter sweet that our kids are growing up so fast.
