So Kristen has been asking for a Wii Fit for a while now, so I told her if she came up with the money she could have one. Well, 10 sold books later, she raised enough money to go and get one. It isn't as easy as it looks, and you definitely look very ridiculous doing some of the games. I think Blake has had more fun than the rest of us. Check out the videos below and you will see.

I have officially started calling myself the accidental farmer. Awhile ago I posted about all the great fruits, vegetable and flowers that we bought for our garden. All the flowers are dead and the only things still living from that post are the raspberries and green peppers. Yep, I killed them all. I actually blame our soil.
At church a couple months ago a family was giving out their started fruits and vegetables because too many actually grew, so I took a couple. I planted them and they got buried by all the wind storms we had. I forgot about them until a couple of weeks ago. One plant popped it's little head up and I thought that was great. Then more popped up and I started getting excited. I pretty much just threw some seeds down and left it at that. These little seeds have turned out very successful. So the plants I bought all died but the ones I ignored are thriving. Our biggest one is our canteloupe plant, it's huge!
This is our cantaloup plant. I can't wait to see if it produces.
And underneath the cantaloup are the seeds thrown by the wayside. I actually have to move those smaller ones because the cantaloup leaves are way too big for the others to get sun.
I just find it comical that I can only grow by accident. Oh well, I'll take it!

This weekend my good friend Linda flew down from Reno, NV to visit our little family. We were so excited to have her here. When we lived in Reno, she was practically a second mom to Blake and he just adored her. We were also excited for her to meet Kalli and Kalli sure loved her! Blake has been asking for Linda all day today and I just had to tell him that she had to go back to her own family. I told Linda that I need to persuade Carl to send her down once a month.
Dropping Linda off at the airport.
Linda bought Blake a little bubble set and he loves it! He especially loved it when she went out and blew bubbles with him.
Getting quarter cones at Sonic...I should have taken a picture of her face when she got her coke with lemon. =)
Kalli sure loved the ice cream!
Linda spoiling Blake was tummy and back rubs.
We had so much fun this weekend... I can't wait to see you again. We love you Linda!!!!
While Linda was here I wanted to utilize her sewing knowledge and help me with some products. All of Saturday afternoon and evening was spend sewing together. I had so much fun and wish she lived down the street again so I could get her to help me more. We made an apron and two hooded towels. I was so happy with the outcome of all three.
What a good teacher!
Going solo. This green towel really screwed up my machine but I conquered it in the end!
So cute and I am only talking about the apron
Cute little model to show off her new hooded towel. They turned out so cute and they will be able to wear them for years to come they were so big!
The two hooded towels together. These were so easy to make. If you want to make them, let me know and I can give you the website you need. You don't need to be a great sewer, they are pretty simple.
